How to Buy Japanese Trading Cards from Japan

Japanese trading cards can be listed by major retailers, specialist card shops, marketplaces, auction sellers, and physical stores. Buying from overseas is possible, but the right process depends on whether you want a sealed product, an individual card, a preorder, a limited release, or a second-hand listing.

Start with the exact item

Send the product page whenever possible. For a single card, include the card name, set, card number, rarity, language, and edition. For sealed products, state whether you want a box, pack, deck, case, or promotional item. Similar names and artwork can refer to products with very different values.

Check the seller and listing details

Request visible checks before shipping

After an item reaches our base in Japan, you can request photographs or visible checks within an agreed scope. Common requests include the card front and back, corners, edges, quantity, sealed condition, accessories, and obvious damage to the outer box.

A visible check is not authentication or professional grading. It cannot guarantee hidden condition, future grading results, or whether a sophisticated counterfeit will be detected. If professional authentication is required, ask about an appropriate specialist before purchasing.

Limited releases, lotteries, and purchase limits

Some trading-card releases use lotteries, timed drops, or strict per-customer limits. We can assist only when proxy participation is permitted. We do not create duplicate accounts, lend identities, bypass purchase limits, or submit entries that violate a store’s rules. Entry, attempt, and refund terms should be confirmed before any application begins.

Packing and international shipping

Cards and sealed products should be packed for the item type and the shipping method selected. Combining multiple purchases may reduce the number of parcels, but a larger parcel can increase volumetric weight. High-value items may also need a trackable service, insurance where available, or special declaration handling.
